Members Voluntary Arrangement (MVL)
If a company is solvent but still wishes to wind up its affairs, it can be placed into members voluntary liquidation.
In order to do this, the directors will sign a declaration of insolvency before appointing a licenses insolvency practitioner to wind up the company's affairs.
The insolvency practitioner will take steps to realise all of the available assets of the company in order to pay creditors in full. Any surplus realisations will then be paid to the members after which the company will be dissolved.
If you require assistance with your members voluntary liquidation we would like to hear from you to see how we can help. You can either use our contact form or call us today on 0844 704 8907.
